• Prelude has been performing together for over three decades throughout Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, Massachusetts and Vermont. Along with being the state’s premier band for weddings and other formal events, Prelude has risen to the top in performing for a number of prestigious foundations and corporations. Among these are The Arthritis Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, IBM, The Hartford Hospital, Bristol Hospital, Hospital of Central Connecticut, Midstate Medical, The UConn Health Center, The Hartford Insurance Group, Spalding Sports, Inc., and ESPN to name a few. The band consists of a choice of four or five musicians. Both lineups feature both male and female lead and background vocals that create the ability for the band to play a wide variety of music that is enjoyed by listeners of all ages and tastes. The instrumentation of the band consists of guitar, bass guitar, sequenced or live keyboards (depending on the 4 or 5 piece version), drums, and alto saxophone.
